NIH BSSR-Systems Science Listserv info:
- The purpose of this listserv is to inform subscribers of events/news at NIH and beyond, related to the intersection of three domains: systems science methodologies, behavioral and social sciences research, and health. Lectures and articles of interest, training opportunities, job opportunities, conferences and funding announcements are the sorts of things posted. Note that not every message will relate to the overlap between all three areas. For example, some messages may relate to behavioral and/or social science research without relating to systems science or health. Some postings will be on topics that impact the three domains. I am likely to post messages related to scientific inquiry more broadly; for example, on data science, big data, and reproducibility. I also am likely to post information about NIH, especially grants or review information would be of general interest to members of the listserv even if it isn’t specific to any of the three topic areas.
- The list is open to the public, but only the listowner may add new subscribers. If you or a colleague would like to subscribe to this list, simply email me at email@example.com with full contact info, including name, title, degree, institutional affiliation, department, discipline, email address, and phone number, and a brief description of your educational background and current professional interests. Due heavy email volume requests can sometimes be missed. If you do not receive confirmation within 2 weeks of your request, kindly resubmit it.
- The list is now in digest format and comes once per week. It is not a discussion board; only the listowner can post to the list.
